Brooke Nye, M.S.Ed., CCC-SLP, is the visionary founder and driving force behind NYE Homegrown Learning, LLC.
As a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Brooke's journey is not just professional, but deeply personal. Having navigated her own challenges with dyslexia throughout her school career, Brooke understands firsthand the struggles which can go unnoticed. This empathy and commitment to making a difference for others who may also be silently struggling has led her to establish NYE Homegrown Learning.
Brooke is not your expected SLP—she goes beyond traditional assessments, asking the deeper questions that often aren’t addressed in standard evaluations or doctor’s visits. She is passionate about uncovering the root causes of speech and language developmental delays, ensuring families receive not just answers, but real, actionable solutions. Whether it’s addressing language processing, executive functioning, memory, or social communication, Brooke is committed to finding the 'why' behind the challenges children face.
At NYE Homegrown Learning, Brooke works with children from ages 3 to 22, providing comprehensive evaluations and individualized interventions in a fun, fit, and FUNctional environment. Her approach is not just about identifying strengths and weaknesses but about empowering parents, educators, and related professionals to design effective treatment plans tailored to each child's learning needs. She believes in going beyond the test results, diving into receptive and expressive language, memory, attention, cognition, vocabulary, speech, reading, writing, problem-solving, pragmatic language, social-emotional development, and executive functioning!
